Anthem of the day:
New Orleans is great. Started out with beignets and Cafe au Lait at Cafe Du Monde. Got a crepe at the French Market and checked out the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Explored a little and got some of the best fried chicken I’ve had off of Canal Street. Wandered around Bourbon street a bit, then headed to Pat O’Brien’s for their legendary Hurricane. The dueling pianos at Pat O’Brien’s were one of my favorite parts of the trip, I ended up hanging out there most of the night. Everyone was really friendly, there are some interesting characters in NOLA. Shout-out to my boy Silver Surfer. The Sazerac is definitely one of my new favorite cocktails.
